States Premium Mare Dukate

Our champion mare line began with the purchase of States Premium Mare (SPS) Dukate/Dynamo. She won several mare shows in Germany before being imported to Canada. In 1990 and 92 she was the Eastern Canadian Champion Hanoverian Mare. In 1994 she foaled Raffles by Reipo for us.

Raffles became a Ist diploma Swedish Mare, winner of the non-Hanoverians at her 3 year old inspection and one of the top 20 three year olds inspected by the American Hanoverian Society that year. She went on to win numerous dressage championships in the US and Canada, under the guidance of Gina Smith and ridden by Andrea Bresse. She ended her dressage career by representing Canada at the 2007 Pan Am Games as part of the Silver Medal Dressage Team.

In 1995 SPS Dukate produced Elite Mare Denebola/Donnerhall.

We bred her back to Donnerhall and in 1996 she foaled Denebola’s full sister Donna Carina who with junior/young rider, Madeline McKallip, was Reserve USDA (Hanoverian) Champion at the Advanced level in 2010.
