States Premium Mare Welt Lena

States Premium Mare Welt Lena/Weltmeyer received incredible scores in her performance test in Germany, mostly 8s with 9 for the walk. Her sire is the legendary Hanoverian stallion Weltmeyer. Her dam was herself a States Premium Mare with thoroughbred lineage. The dam’s sire was the Elite stallion Goodwill imported by Spruce Meadows.

Welt Lena was imported from Germany by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for their musical ride breeding program. She produced many foals for the RCMP, including several good enough to be entered into their biannual auction. Welt Lena was purchased by Craig House Farm in 2009 at the age of 16. Welt Lena produced one foal for us, Sudha, by the Elite Hanoverian stallion Sir Wanabi. At her foal inspection in 2012 Sudha was complimented as the type of horse the Hanoverian judges like to see. At her 3 year old mare inspection in 2015 she was entered into into the Hanoverian Mare book as an approved breeding mare. Sudha was bought as a 3 year old by Sarah Rahmer and then subsequently by professional event rider Susanne Entraineur Tezanes.
